Things To Do This Summer With Your Kids:
Go to the beach, collect rocks, and fill a glass bowl or vase for decoration.
Take a bike ride as a family.
Plant flowers around your house and teach your child how to take care of them.

Parenting Tips
Children love routines! Set up a routine for doing homework, getting ready for school and bed, and times to do chores.
Read to your children! This is a great way to teach a concept such as respect, diversity, solving conflict, and self esteem. If you need a resource for books please contact me!
Compliment your children every day!
Spend one on one time with your children doing something fun!
Be consistent with your children. If they break a rule, teach them what is right from wrong and provide a logical consequence.

Accepting Everyone
Hi, as most of you know I love to teach kids about accepting everyone for who they are. We have just finished up our diversity training in grades 3, 4, and 5. It was fun! I hope that our school can now recognize all of our differences and similarities! That means no more bullying:) Just be nice.
